Bantams Varsity Defeats Carolina Prospects in Fall Scrimmage

University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity weathered a push by Carolina Prospects in the first inning where University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity coughed up five runs, but University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity still won 10-9 on Sunday. Carolina Prospects's big inning was driven by singles by Hookor and Corbett, fielder's choices by Shealy and Brusman, and a double by Blackmon.

Bats blistered as University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity collected 12 hits and Carolina Prospects tallied ten in the high-scoring game.

In the first inning, Carolina Prospects got their offense started when Hookor singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
