Bantams Split a Doubleheader Against Limestone JV

First Game

University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity blew out JV Saints 18-2 on Thursday. University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored one run for University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity. University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity scored seven runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity was led by Austin Baal, Joah Nelson, Drey Sands, Kelson Palmer, and Jacob Davis, all driving in runs in the inning. Elijah Tydings led things off on the mound for University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity.

The game was tied at one with JV Saints batting in the bottom of the eighth when #3 homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs. University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity knotted the game up at one in the top of the seventh inning, when Joah Nelson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. #24 toed the rubber for JV Saints. The ace allowed two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out five.

Chandler Koerner was on the mound for University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out four and walking zero. Matthew Hager, Garrison Hendrix, Eli Mcmullen, and Wesley Livingston each entered the game as relief, throwing one inning, one inning, one inning, and two-thirds of an inning respectively. Chandler Moeller went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity in hits. University of South Carolina Union Bantams Varsity was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Noah Jordan made the most plays with five.
