In an intense college baseball face-off on May 5, 2025, USC Union edged out USC Sumter with a final score of 6-4. The match, held in Lexington, saw a gripping battle unfold, with USC Union capitalizing on early opportunities to secure their victory.

The game kicked off with USC Union's A. Talarico setting the tone with a solo home run to right field in the first inning. Talarico continued to be a pivotal player, contributing significantly with both his bat and his speed on the bases. He ended the game with three hits, two RBIs, and three runs, including a crucial double in the fourth inning that brought R. Murphy home.

USC Union maintained their momentum in the third inning, where M. Kirksey's single to center field drove in two runs, extending their lead to 3-0. J. Skorupski further added to the tally with an RBI single, bringing the score to 4-0.
