In an intense college baseball face-off on May 5, 2025, USC Union edged out USC Sumter with a final score of 6-4. The match, held in Lexington, saw a gripping battle unfold, with USC Union capitalizing on early opportunities to secure their victory.
The game kicked off with USC Union's A. Talarico setting the tone with a solo home run to right field in the first inning. Talarico continued to be a pivotal player, contributing significantly with both his bat and his speed on the bases. He ended the game with three hits, two RBIs, and three runs, including a crucial double in the fourth inning that brought R. Murphy home.
