Lady Bantams Volleyball Secures Spot in Playoffs

The Lady Bantams volleyball team won their last season home game 3-0 on Sophomore night against USC Sumter.  With the win, the Lady Bantams secured a spot in the playoffs, the first in program history!  Sophomores from left to right, Amber Northcutt, Lydia Gault, Kate Everett, Helena Alexander, Rileigh Inglett and Aneesa Williams were recognized before the game. Carley Sumner led the offensive attack with 11 kills while Aneesa Williams added 6 kills. Helena Alexander, Cadence Clayton, Kate Everett and Aneesa Williams had 2 serving Aces each. Helena Alexander led the defense with 22 digs followed by Kate Everett with 15 digs and Lydia Gault and Julia Whitney with 10 a piece. Lydia Gault had 17 assists.  The Lady Bantams travel to Johnson & Wales on Tuesday, October 18thfor their last season game.
